Addressing child marriage at scale – how CSOs have worked with governments
Session Description
Large-scale action to end child marriage requires government leadership and commitment. Yet civil society has played – and will continue to play – a critical role in informing the kinds of programmes and campaigns needed to make actual progress. Cooperation between the two is key. Using examples of civil society and government cooperation to end child marriage at scale, this session offers a chance to discuss challenges and lessons learned.
