Making public finances work: Costing and budgeting to end child marriage

Making public finances work: Costing and budgeting to end child marriage

Session Description

Costed national strategies and action plans are a strong sign of a government’s commitment to ending child marriage. Drawing on examples from Bangladesh, Mozambique, Uganda and Zambia, this session shares lessons from concrete costing and analyses of budget allocations to support advocacy efforts. We will also explore the role of civil society organisations in supporting the costing and budgeting processes.
